OppRanger

Stop searching SAM.gov. Start answering it.

Every morning, OppRanger reads the new government postings, scores each one against your certifications and your real capabilities, and sends you only the ones worth your time — with the response already started.

For 8(a), WOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone, and MBE/DBE-certified small businesses. No card. No login to try it.

Those hand you a haystack. We hand you the needles, scored, with a draft started.

How it works

Three steps, run for you every business day. You read a short email. That’s the whole workload.

Step 1

Scan

Every morning OppRanger reads the new postings on SAM.gov, SBA SubNet, the NYS Contract Reporter, DC’s procurement portal, and Louisiana’s LaPAC. More portals get added as clients need them.

Step 2

Score

Each posting is checked against your profile: NAICS codes, set-asides, certifications, past work, and the places you can actually serve. You see a fit level and the reasons behind it — not a wall of results.

Step 3

Draft

For the ones worth your time, we start the response: a first pass at the narrative, mapped to the solicitation’s own sections. Everything up to submission. You add the numbers and sign.

Built for certified small businesses without a bid desk

You earned the certification. The set-asides exist for you. But finding the right postings is a full-time job, and you already have one — running the business. OppRanger is the bid desk you didn’t hire.

It also works for the consultants who manage bids for several clients at once: one profile per client, one morning digest each.

Certifications we score against
  • 8(a)
  • WOSB / EDWOSB
  • SDVOSB / VOSB
  • HUBZone
  • MBE / DBE
  • State M/WBE
  • Total small business

Federal, state, and local. If your certification isn’t here, tell us — the scoring is set up by a person, not a dropdown.

Where we stop, on purpose

Three lines we don’t cross. They’re what keep you in control of your own bid.

No pricing

We never touch your numbers. Rates, margins, and cost volumes stay with you and your accountant.

No submission

You are the contractor of record, always. The final review, the signature, and the send are yours.

No guarantees

A fit score is our read on the posting against your profile. It is not a promise of award, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

A team runs it. It’s not just a portal.

OppRanger is operated by Carter Black Agency. A real person sets up your profile, tunes what “fit” means for your business, and reads every draft before it reaches your inbox.

When a score is wrong, you tell us and the scoring changes. When a portal in your state isn’t covered, we go add it. You get a bid desk, and a phone number that picks up.

Tell us who you are. We’ll run a scan against your certifications and NAICS codes, score what comes back, and start one draft. You’ll see exactly what a Tuesday with OppRanger looks like. If it’s useful, we’ll talk.

Certifications you hold

We use this only to build your digest. No list, no resale.
